How to disable Norton security email scanning feature.

1. Click on START --> All Programs or Programs--> Norton Internet Security --> Norton Internet Security
2. Click on the OPTIONS button and choose "Norton Antivirus"
   
3. Click on Email
   
4. Uncheck "Scan incoming Email" and "Scan outgoing Email"
5. Press OK.
6. If the Protect Alert pops up, choose "Permanently" and click OK
   
7. If you have the Antispam feature, click OPTIONS, choose Norton Antispam, uncheck on "Turn on Norton Antispam", check OK
8. Close out of Norton Internet Security
