About Email

In order to get your email, you must choose and setup an email client.  An email client allows you to retrieve, read, compose and send emails to others.  Think of WADSNET as your local post office and your email box as your PO box. Your email client is the person you want to go get your email. The following are popular email clients.  WADSNET recommends Mozilla Thunderbird.

Outlook Express Simplest POP3 client.  Easy to use. Click on START --> Programs --> Outlook Express to start. Pre-installed on most Windows operating system.
Microsoft Outlook Similar to Outlook Express except has calendars and better features.   Must buy Microsoft Office suites.
Netscape Messenger Comes with Netscape web browser.  http://www.netscape.com
Eudora Popular. Fast. http://www.eudora.com.  Free version has banner ads.  Registered version is $40.
IncrediMail Similar to Outlook. Includes backgrounds and animations. Free version has banner.  http://www.incredimail.com.  If you like lots of sound, colors, effects and a very slow email client, this one is for you.
Pegasus Mail Simple. Free. The original email client. http://www.pmail.com
