Configure MacOS X Mail

  1. Open your hard drive icon.

  2. Double-click on Applications.

  3. Open Mail

  4. Click on Mail and select Preferences.



  5. Highlight the Default mail account under Description.

  6. Click on Edit to verify your settings. Click on Add Account to create a new email account.



  7. For Account Type Please choose POP Account.
  • Please fill in the correct values for your account


Description: A label for this account, usually your e-mail address

Email Address: Your e-mail address

Full Name: You name as you would like it to appear on messages you send

Host name: Type in "mail.wadsnet.com" as your incoming e-mail server

User name: The username for your account, the same as the email address (example: username@wadsnet.com)

Password: Type in your password if you would like Outlook Express to remember it for you. Otherwise it will prompt you every time you check your mail

SMTP host:Type in "smtp.wadsnet.com" as your outgoing e-mail server, then check 'Use Authentication when sending mail'
