If you are using the default email client in Windows Vista, Windows Mail or aka Vista Mail, follow these instructions to set up your Wadsnet account.

1. Click the Vista (Start) button at the bottom left and select Windows Mail.

2. In Windows Mail, click the Tools Menu, and select Accounts.

3. In the accounts window, click the Add... button to begin the account creation process.

4. Select 'E-mail Account' and click next.

5. For 'Display Name,' enter your name as you would like it to appear on outgoing emails; click next.

6. For 'E-mail Address,' enter your FULL email address. (ex. username@wadsnet.com) Click Next.

7. Now, select POP3 as your 'Incoming E-mail server type.'

b. For 'Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) Server,' enter mail.wadsnet.com

c. For 'Outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) name,' enter smtp.wadsnet.com

d. Check the 'Outgoing Server Requires Authentication' box at the bottom. Click Next.

8. For 'E-mail Username' be sure to enter your FULL e-mail address. (ex. someone@wadsnet.com)

b. Enter your password in the 'Password' blank.

9. Click Finish.

10. Click close to complete the setup.
