13. Disable Windows Login PDF Print E-mail

If you have a network installed, each time you log on you will be asked for a password. To disable this feature, try the following:

  1. Right-click on the Network Neighborhood icon and select Properties
  2. On the Configuration tab, select Windows Logon in the Primary Network Logon box
  3. Click OK.
  4. When Windows prompts you to restart your computer, click No
  5. Click the Start button, point to Settings, then select Control Panel
  6. Double-click the Passwords icon
  7. On the Change Passwords tab (skip to the next step if you do not have this tab), click the Change Windows Password button, leave all three password field blank and click OK.
  8. Click on the User profiles tab, click the option box that says "All users of this computer use…", and click CLOSE.
  9. When Windows prompts you to restart your computer, click YES.
