Creating a whitelist
WADSNET MailSafe Spam Firewall protects you against spam and viruses. MailSafe can also create a list that will only allow certain email address to
come to you, block certain emails and save the rest. To do this:

and stating that you would like to create a whitelist and quarantine all
emails
- Start your web browser and open to http://mailsafe.wadsnet.com:8000/cgi-bin/index.cgi
- Enter your email address in the Username field and click Create
new password.
- Close out of your web browser
- Start your email client
- Check for new email
- Look for a new email from "WADSNET MailSafe Spam Firewall"
- This email contains your username and password. Note: This is NOT
the same password as your email address.
- Click on the link in the email. This will open up your web browser
and take you to the spam firewall
- Click the PREFERENCES tab
- Click on the Quarantine Settings sub-tab.
- Check Daily under the Quarantine Notification section and
click Save changes.
- Click the Whitelist/Blacklist sub-tab
- Add the email addresses you want to email you in the Whitelist
and click Add. Repeat for all email addresses.
- Add the email addresses you want to block in the Blacklist and
click Add.
- All other emails will be quarantined or saved up to 15 days. After
15 days, the emails will be automatically deleted. There is NO way to
retrieve emails once deleted.
