How to change the starting Identity for Outlook Express 5 and 6

Problem: Every time Outlook Express starts, the main identity starts.  Is there a way to change it so that Outlook Express will prompt for an identity?

Cause: The starting identity in Outlook express is the main identity. 

Solution:

  1. Start Outlook Express
  2. Go to the File menu, select Identities and then Manage Identities...
  3. Uncheck the checkbox "Use this identity when starting a program"
  4. Press close.

Now every time your restart your computer, log off Outlook express or log out of Windows, Outlook Express will prompt for an identity.
